This captivating Montana sapphire is a mix of deep blue and green that is a classic color for the Montana gems. This sapphire has been subject to traditional heat treatment in Montana to improve the color and clarity, but no other treatments have been applied. The treatment is permanent and stable. This sapphire has slight inclusions that are just barely visible to the unaided eye. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
This sapphire is faceted in our “Aurora” brilliant square cushion design, created and optimized for sapphire; the resulting gemstone is bright and scintillating in the hand. The gem weighs 6.24 carats and measures 10.0 x 7.1 mm.
