A lovely midnight blue-green unheated sapphire faceted in a classic oval design, 2.77 carats.

Description
This unheated sapphire is a very dark shade of blue-green that will look black in low lighting. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. This sapphire was acquired directly from a reputable gem dealer. It has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the unaided eye from a normal viewing distance. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color. There is a small patch of golden rutile silk that can flash in certain lights, but it’s not objectionable and is proof positive of its unheated nature.
The sapphire was faceted outside the United States in a classic oval design. It weighs 2.77 carats and measures 9.0 x 7.1 x 4.9 mm.
