Description
This tourmaline is a gorgeous pink color. The rough was sourced directly from a mine in Keffi, Nigeria. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. The tourmaline has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the unaided eye from a normal viewing distance. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
I faceted this tourmaline in my “Sparkling Snowflake” custom hexagon design; the resulting gemstone is a glittering beauty. The gem weighs 2.11 carats and measures 8.8 mm across the points, 8.0 mm across the flats and is 5.5 mm deep. It is perfect for a pendant or a unique ring.
