Description
This lovely unheated sapphire comes from Umba, Tanzania. The color is a beautiful blue-toned violet color. The sapphire has very small inclusions that are quite difficult to see with the unaided eye from a normal viewing distance. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color. The gem is faceted in a classic emerald cut design; it weighs 1.16 carats and measures 6.6 x 4.7 x 3.6 mm.
