Description
This beautiful spessartine garnet is a delicious bright orange. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. It has slight inclusions that are just barely visible to the unaided eye, including some tiny crystal inclusions that are more are visible in the macro photo than in the hand. Sometimes referred to as “sugar” in the gem trade, they have a very minor impact on the brilliance of the gem and look most like a slight haze. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
This garnet is faceted in our “Stella” brilliant square cushion design and cut to high precision; the result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. It weighs 0.77 carats and measures 5.1 x 3.5 mm.
