Description
Brazil is the source for some very intense green emeralds, such as this one. While this emerald may not have the highest clarity possible, the rich green color more than compensates for that. This emerald has inclusions that are visible with the unaided eye. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.
This gem is faceted in our custom “Eureka” brilliant rectangle cushion design, optimized for emerald. The tone is an intense rich green that practically glows. Like nearly all emeralds, it has a moderate amount of inclusions or “jardin,” although they are far less visible in person than the macro photos imply. This emerald has not been treated The gem weighs 0.74 carats and measures 6.6 x 5.0 x 4.2 mm.
